Adrian Turpin is a DaVinci Resolve TV Colourist based in the North West with 10 years experience of Post Production Colour Grading. BBC Trained and working remotely using Blackmagic Cloud or Frame.io in our own custom designed colour grading suite or on site in Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow.

The Light Direction
is based in the small Cumbrian town of Kirkby Lonsdale on the edge of the stunning Lake District National Park.
Our Facility
Situated on the southern edge of the beautiful Lake District, the perfect location for tweaking the many hues and colours that make up the colour spectrum and the colour space, a stunning custom designed DaVinci Resolve grading suite fitted out to broadcast specification.

Documentary
Documentaries have their own particular brand of challenges when it comes to grading. They are often shot over a long period of time and have footage shot in differing light and on a variety of cameras. Shot matching as well as styling is crucial here.
Food and Drink
Food and Drink projects not only make you hungry but they are great fun to work on. They require great attention to detail to ensure that every dish looks its best and looks enticing and appetising.
Music Video
Music videos are often about adding visual effects as much as creating an interesting stylised look and matching shots. They need to make the artists look good as well as enhance the lighting and the photography.
TV Commercials
TV Commercials are product based and there can be a lot of cleaning up, removing marks or unwanted objects and also a lot of beauty treatment in the case of models.
