January 2012:
puffin on beach    A busy start to the new year with a variety of jobs scattered all over northern England and Scotland. From west coast to east coast and in between too. Adrian even had time for some exploring in Northumberland in both the beautiful forest areas near the national park and on the extensive beaches nearby where there was a Razorbill in need of rescue. Having carried the lost and tired bird up to a safe and sheltered part of the beach, a little bit of local cuisine was in order...!

Adrian has also been busily globe trotting to far off locations including Singapore, India and Abu Dhabi. ATLD Ltd. will shortly be moving to Kendal in the beautiful and inspiring Lake District. This will enable us to better serve all of our clients who are currently spread around the UK. We have a strong customer base in Scotland and we fully intend to carry on providing the same high level of service to all our Scottish clients as well as hopefully finding it somewhat easier to provide the same levels of service to our clients in the North West of England.
As more information becomes available on our relocation plans we will of course keep you up to date.

Working out in Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix was an experience and a half. We went from boiling hot sunshine to cold, thunderstorms and eventually torrential rain on race day. But what a race it was, one to go down in the history books with Jenson coming all the way through from the back of the pack to finally take the lead on the last lap and win the race. Even had time for some white water rafting on the mighty St. Lawrence river which got us soaked through but was highly exciting and somewhat terrifying too!

January - April 2010:
• The first four months of 2010 has seen a lot of globetrotting with jobs in Bahrain, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai. That's around 47,902 miles of air travel ! We've also been fitting in the usual assortment of jobs back in the UK. Some smaller local jobs have proven difficult to fit in and we have had to ask some clients and customers to be patient in waiting for availability. So far everyone has been very understanding for which we would like to say many thanks.

• As of 19th April Adrian is stranded in Shanghai due to the Icelandic volcano situation affecting world travel. We hope to minimise any disruption to our customers and clients but obviously the situation is well beyond our control.

• Update as of 24th April: We now have a flight booked back to the UK via Hong Kong and hope to be back in Glasgow on Sunday 25th.

October - December 2009:
• The last quarter of this year turned out to be an incredibly busy spell for us. As well as fitting in jobs from as far afield as Aberdeen, Belfast and Wolverhampton and local jobs in Glasgow, we also spent a lot of time giving our website a much needed face lift. Hopefully it has a much cleaner look now as well as presenting the relevant information more clearly and perhaps most importantly showing off our photographic work in a much better and more accessible way. We still have more work to do, particularly on the lighting design section, but hopefully we are getting there.

February 2008:
• Promotional shoot for the motion picture 'Three And Out' for Rovinge Motion Picture Company. This involved actor Gary Lewis who played the part of Callaghan in the film. Gary is also well known as Billy Elliot's dad from the film of the same name. He was directed by Martin Scorsese alongside Daniel Day Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz in 'Gangs of New York', he was in 'Ae Fond Kiss', 'Carla's Song', 'My Name Is Joe', 'Shallow Grave', and on TV - 'Prime Suspect', 'Rebus' and 'Taggart' to name but a few. He has also received a BAFTA nomination and British Actor of the Year nomination. This was a challenging shoot for us as we were asked at very short notice to provide costume and props as well as do the shoot. The costume by way of a set of pyjamas wasn't too difficult but a shotgun was a little more challenging. Yes, a shotgun. We did however come up with the goods and the shoot went ahead on time.
