Location or Studio?

We can photograph you either on location, interior or exterior, or we can shoot a studio portrait for you. A location shot or a studio sitting can make for a great personal family keepsake or offer an aspiring model the opportunity for expression and experimentation. Or simply have some fun with hair, make up and clothes and then take away the pictures to brighten up your walls at home or to show your friends.

What happens during the photo shoot?

A family type studio photographic session would normally last in the region of half an hour to an hour. It is very relaxed and our service is unrushed. Getting the right shots and having some fun is the most important objective. There's plenty of time for a tea or coffee, fix your hair, check your makeup. We charge a small nominal fee for a standard session and if you have the energy then a longer shoot can be arranged!

A location shoot is charged for by the hour and carries a minimum fee. Discounts are available for larger orders so you may possibly recoup the cost of the shoot.

All of your pictures are made available to view on our website via a private link. We are more than heppy to help you pick the shots that you want or you are welcome to decide by yourself.

We include a free DVD of all your pictures that can be viewed on most players. This is a great way to view your pictures and have friends or family help to choose the ones you want. Alternatively we are more than happy to help you choose.

Picture Frames: What choice of frames and sizes is there for my pictures?

All of our frames are hand made and are of the highest quality, ready to hang with archive mounts and sealed for maximum longevity.

You can have a frame made at pretty much any size but our standard sizes are 16 x 12, 14 x 14, 20 x 16, 24 x 16, 24 x 20 and 32 x 12. This is the size of the actual image.

Products: What other alternative products do you offer to the conventional frame?

We also offer the very popular and eye catching MDF single or multi-split block mounted prints, a typical size being 30 x 20 but the overall size and number of blocks can be varied to suit. There are a variety of other alternative presentation formats too such as the very contemporary looking acrylic stand-off frames. There is plenty of choice. Please ask for details.

We digitally process all picture material once it has been shot. At this stage we can remove unwanted marks, objects, skin blemishes etc. We can also create effects such as selective colour retention within a black and white image, classic black and white images and multiple images within the one frame.
